The Technology of Induction Lamps

The induction lamp is a highly efficient lighting solution that consists of three main components: the electronic ballast, magnetic coils, and induction tube. The electronic ballast plays a crucial role in ensuring that the lamp operates at optimal levels by generating high frequency current to keep the gas discharging. This process causes the mercury vapor to emit UV light, which in turn illuminates the bulb and produces bright, high-quality light. The magnetic coils in the lamp help to create a magnetic field that enables energy transfer from the ballast to the induction tube. This energy transfer process is what produces the UV light and ultimately results in a well-lit space. Overall, the induction lamp is an excellent lighting option for those looking for a long-lasting, energy-efficient, and eco-friendly solution.

Principle Of Electronic Ballast

The electronic ballast has four main parts. The first part reduces harmonics from the power supply. The second part converts AC to DC power. The third part boosts the DC voltage to a constant 400V value and increases efficiency. The last part converts DC power to high frequency AC.

Induction Lamps VS Traditional Lamps

Induction Lighting was introduced to the market since 1990s, however then, it is widely believed that the share of lighting market has not opened the door to the induction lighting. This has been changing a lot from the new century, with the trends of the lack of energy, every government is going to help and building new energy saving lighting system, considered as 4 th generation lighting technology (though it is actually old), induction lighting has been widely accepted and used.

Comparing with traditional lighting, induction lighting is with big advantages on energy saving and bills saving(whatever the monthly bill cost or free from maintain), people will find seeing more brighter, clearer and healthier at an affordable initial investment.
