Summary

Using LUMENEXT Induction lighting, the street lighting fixture wattage used was reduced to 120W instead of 250W HID lamps. Total energy reduction was -52%


The brightness of the induction street lamp was also brighter than the current HPS street lighting.

Induction lighting 120 W (E max)             = 23 lx

High Pressure Sodium 250W  (E max)    = 17 lx


Brightness Increase = (23 - 17) / 17        = +35%

AFTER: 26.3 lux (average)

Brightness Increment= (26.3lx - 12.2lx / 12.2lx)= +115%


Summary

Using LUMENEXT Induction lighting, the street lighting fixture wattage used was reduced by a minimum of 40%. Brightness was also improved by +115% even with reducing the wattage.

Summary

Using LUMENEXT Induction lighting, the street lighting fixture wattage used was reduced by a minimum of 40%. Brightness was also improved by +34% even with reducing the wattage. Better uniformity and illumination provides better experience and increase safety for the area.
